Thank god that's over...
Oct. 2nd, 2001 10:41 pmCourse of antibiotics finished. Lump has reduced from golfball shaped to button-shaped. No more antibiotics. Now capable of felling slightly attractive. But the most important thing is that the antibiotics are finished. Apart from the not-drinking thing, which is obviously tedious, those things (Flucloxacilline and Metro-something-ine since you ask) seemed to have some psychoactive properties. I got very depressed - with a side order of random mood swings. Fuck, Hannah has to do nine months of that. Poor thing. I am now nearly back to my normal cheery self. Birthday rescheduling will be announced soon, possibly tomorrow.
I also had the fun experience of having every bad smell magnified x100. Sorry to anyone whose breath I recoiled from. And my sofa smells, but not as bad as Liverpool Street. I hope that was psychosomatic. No, wait, that would mean I was mad. I hope it wasn't. I... Oh...
In todays work news, our Moai LiveExchange licenses timed out, and Moai were slow at coming up with new ones, so I ha><0red it (OK, having a Java decompiler made it easy). For a product with such a massively obfuscated data-access layer, the license enforcement was dead easy to find. Isn't it meant to be the other way around?
Still no questionnaires though. Some of us have work to do...
