Today's attack is designed to steal your bank account details and then presumably, your money.

If you ever use Internet Explorer to submit sensitive information over the internet, install another browser such as Mozilla Firefox now, or lose out.

If your bank doesn't support anything but IE, now might be a good time to complain.

Ah. Well, after a conversation with Mindy last night, and more importantly, as I amazed to discover, Firefox is only 4.7MB, I shall indeed download it tonight / tomorrow night.

I'll just have to risk using IE to download it with...

I would assume (and hope) that Mozilla.org (assuming that that's the download source for firefox) isn't running IIS and therefore can't be infected by the attack.

I've gone back to using Netscape no problems with that is there?
Ah it brings back memories.
Except I seem not to be able to save stuff off the web or download it's being abit weird.

Thanks for that ! Have downloaded firefox and banished evil Internet Explorer. The nice people at Columbia University have done the same thing so I am with you. Thanks for providing the link !!
