Date: 2005-01-20 05:35 am (UTC)Answer to PS: in your case it's not so important; you bought when prices were reasonably sensible, so you have decent equity, and with a child, you'll not want to sell-to-rent. Whenever makes most sense for you as a group really. It might be midly advantageous to you to hang on for a while, but not much since I think you'll be moving sideways (i.e. buying and selling for similar money, but making a size/location tradeoff).
Just be aware that selling will be the hard part - buying should be easy. And your buyers will beat you down on price, so make sure you do the same when you buy.
