Scary stuff I saw on TV

babysimonA new pedestrian bridge has just opened in London (not the wobbly bridge; another one). This one is bolted on the side of an existing rail bridge.
Apparently the foundations for it were dug by hand, to avoid detonating any WWII bombs and flooding the Bakerloo line.
Is it just me or is that scary? There might be bombs here, but we won't look too hard in case we find one...
