As already mentioned by katyha, we saw Chandy at the houses of parliament last night. I kept having an overwhelming feeling we were about to be found out and arrested (partly due to C saying things like "Can we go up here? I can't remember. Oh, let's do it anyway...").

We saw 15 minutes of the utterly fascinating Mersey Tunnel Bill (a proposal to index-link tolls on the afformentioned tunnel), went up on the roof garden, and I managed to avoid humming "Anarchy in the UK". With some difficulty.

Length of time to implement some horribly complicated modifications to a commodities trading system using various different technologies. Trying to work out which is the best, or least likely to drive me insane in three months time.

I see :). I am currently estimating whether I can expect to receive my repaired dictaphone today ( I have presently been waiting for three days) or whether it would now be more time effective for me to attempt to produce an urgently required 15 page document myself, my typing speed being about 35 wpm on a good day. Thiis reminds me of those maths problems that went " If 15 men attempt to fill a 6 foot bath using 2 5 pint buckets each while 20 men take the plug out at alternating 10 minute intervals, what colour will your hair be when the moon is in Aquarius etc etc". I always hated those but I bet you loved them.
