I'm tired - I've been either at work or sorting out my life constantly today.
At work I installed the wonderful Intellij IDEA and wrote my first taglib. Still don't have CVS as they haven't built my Linux box yet and CVSNT is a cunt to set up (if your NT username has spaces in it, anyway).
I bought an electric blanket because my bedroom is still cold. Needless to say it has two (count 'em!) LCD control panels. Hopefully I'll be warm tonight.
I managed to throw away about 20kg of old magazines from 1999. Well, OK, sort them into a big pile in the middle of the living room. I'll throw them away soon.
I found the catalogue for Apocalypse at the RA, which brought back memories of Angel. You would think I would have some happy ones. I also found all my old copies of the SMBis chainletter. Dunno how I feel about that.
I've been fixing the bit of the kitchen which was only held up by sealant (as I only realised when Hannah sat on it) and it's now held up by a solid bracket.
An old schoolfriend has got back in touch to say a friend of his is putting together a film on polyamory and yadda yadda... Haven't written back to her yet, was on my to-do list but I can't be faffed. I may be coming down with a cold. Maybe that's the reason.
The UK housing market is finally slowing down. Well, I care, OK? I wanna move sometime in 2003.
Not a very exciting day then, but at least I got a lot done. Tomorrow I'm seeing the ex-coworker who either wants to spend all evening bitching about my lovely former employers or else has twigged that I'm SM (after I, errr, slapped her) and wants god knows what. Maybe I flatter myself.
Glass of wine now, I think. Once I've moved the dishwasher back into place. Ulp - bedtime in half an hour...

Missed
Good news about house prices. I'm also looking to move at the moment and struggling to find anything in my price bracket.
What I want: really cool old house with three bedrooms where I can put up all my friends who want to visit/stay. House should have a big kitchen, a claw-footed bath and an excellent attic room for me with a skylight from which I can view the city.
What I can afford: dodgy 60s semi on a horrid estate or very small damp flat for one.
