• Alive in the twenty-first century
• Generally perverted (SM/Tranny/Poly etc.)

What entirely-partisan things do you wake up thankful for?

* Foodie
* Living in a country with a half-decent welfare system. It's ancient, complicated and stressful and could be about 300% better, but it at least exists in a form that is vaguely workable.
* Time-rich (would like to be a little less cash-poor, but I've done the opposite and I'm damn glad that I'm on this side of the fence!)
* As others say above re living in the incredibly priveliged corner of the world.
* Living in Brighton, particuarly as now seems to be a potentially really exciting time to be here for various reasons

ooh! and if we're being utterly partisan and/or bloodyminded:

* of a mixed class background (which is in my head is somewhat, but not totally analagous to someone being mixed-race, or my British Asianness. Basically, I mean, coming from/having lived in a number of differntly-accented spaces, in terms of class.)
